Enabling system architects to explore direct RF sampling with the Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ RFSoC from antenna to digital using tools from MathWorks and industry-leading RF components from Qorvo.

Avnet RFSoC Kit with Qorvo

Connect to RFSoC gigasample data converters and perform analysis natively in MATLAB ® and Simulink ® using Avnet's RFSoC Explorer. Prototype over-the-air transmission with the Qorvo 2x2 LTE Band-3 RF front-end card.

Avnet RFSoC Kit

The Qorvo 2x2 Small Cell RF Front-end Card mates with the Xilinx ZCU111 evaluation board, enabling direct RF-sampling radio prototype within the LTE 1800MHz frequency band. An observation path for the high-efficiency power amplifier is included for development of Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) algorithms.

  • Rapid prototyping platform using the XCZU28DR-2EFFVG1517 device
  • Supports 8x 4GSPS 12-bit ADCs, 8x 6.5GSPS 14-bit DAC, and 8 soft-decision
  • forward error correction (SD-FECs)
  • 4GB DDR4 memory for large sample buffer storage
  • On-board reference PLL (LMK04208) and RF PLLs (LMX2594) generate RF-ADC
