The new Renesas Quick-Connect IoT concept solves a big design challenge by providing a standard platform to connect different sensors and MCUs together.The result is a much simpler hardware and software experience that allows for greater versatility in system design.Pmod expansion boards are an industry standard development tool to help customers get up and running quickly.The Quick-Connect platform also expands our solutions for customers by supporting non-Renesas devices. Individual MCU and Sensor eval boards exist, but a complete system solution that allows quick and easy customization is brand new for the market.

Both hardware and software support are provided. Hardware will support a universal standard with a common Pmod connector and all SW libraries will be available in Renesas’ e2studio to support sensor selection with simplified SW.
