Join Avnet at Autodesk University 2026
September 15-17 in Las Vegas!
As a Factory Marquee Sponsor, Avnet will showcase how engineers can move from design to sourcing faster through the power of Autodesk Fusion and the Avnet Add-In. Visit us throughout the week for hands-on demonstrations, Factory Experience activities, expert presentations, live theater sessions, and opportunities to connect with both the Avnet and Autodesk teams. Whether you're looking for real-time component availability, supply chain insights, design resources, or ways to streamline the journey from concept to production, we'd love to meet you and share what's next for connected engineering workflows.

Yes. The Avnet Add-In for Autodesk Fusion is available at no cost from the Autodesk App Store. A licensed copy of Autodesk Fusion is required.
The Avnet Add-In for Autodesk Fusion integrates Avnet's component inventory and supply chain data directly into the Autodesk Fusion workspace. Engineers can search 1,500+ reference schematics, check real-time component pricing and availability, optimize their bill of materials, and contact Avnet representatives — without leaving Fusion.
In Autodesk Fusion, go to Utilities > Add-Ins > Fusion App Store. Search 'Avnet,' select the add-in, and click Download. Compatible with Windows and macOS.
The add-in flags components approaching end-of-life during the design phase — before the BOM is finalized. Engineers can identify at-risk parts early and use the alternate parts feature to find compatible drop-in substitutes ranked by price, availability, and lead time.
Yes. The add-in uses a TOPSIS-based algorithm to evaluate components across cost, lead time, and lifecycle simultaneously. Sliders let engineers weight criteria by project priority. Suggested alternates appear in a ranked list and can be swapped in a few clicks.
The Avnet Add-In for Autodesk Fusion supports BOM export in Excel (.xlsx) and CSV formats. BOMs can also be shared via email from within the add-in.
Yes. Engineers can reach an Avnet representative directly from within the add-in to discuss pricing, availability, special quotes, and procurement support.
