The RA2L2 group is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M23 core and provides rich communication peripheral features targeting a wide range of applications. RA2L2 is the world's first USB MCU that complies with USB Type C IF standard Rev2.4.
With the capabilities of USB FS, USB-C CC detection, I3C, LPUART, CAN, I2S and low power operation, users can simplify their system design and reduce both system cost and footprint.

• The EK-RA2L2 Evaluation Kit provides an entry point for evaluation, prototyping and development with the RA2L2 MCU.
• Since this board incorporates an emulator circuit, it can be used without any hardware tools. In addition, it comes packaged with a micro-USB cable and USB2.0 Type-CTM cable can be tried out immediately.
• This board includes Breakout pin headers that allow access to all MCU signal pins, allowing easy prototyping.
• Arduino® interface, PmodTM and Qwiic® interface for easy board expansion
• With two switches and three LEDs, simple program can be executed quickly.
• For evaluating USB Type-C power supply systems, it is equipped with a sink screw terminal and a dead battery support circuit, which makes it easy to try it out.
