Alternatively available are lead free SMPB (Softec Microcontroller Personality Board) to use as a Stand-alone low cost development tool, as a target for programming your device, or as daughter card for the Softec MC9S12XD or MC9S12XE family EVBs.

  • Includes on-board BDM (Background Debug Mode) connector.
  • Up to 144-pin ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket on-board.
  • Up to 1.00mm pitch.
  • Supports all MC9S12XF family package compatible devices.
  • Use with any BDM tool.
  • Device adapters require a surface mount target adapter set for mounting to your target board.
  • SMPB configured for Pierce oscillator operation.
  • SMPB includes support for a Colpitts oscillator or a user supplied can oscillator.
