MP2460GJ-Z

MP2460GJ-Z is a synchronous step-down converter. This high-frequency, step-down switching converter with integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs. The device can provide up to 0.6A of output current with current mode control for fast loop response. The device’s wide 4.5V to 45V input voltage range accommodates a variety of step-down applications, and the 1µA shutdown mode quiescent current allows the device to be used in battery-powered applications. It uses a high duty cycle and low-dropout mode when the input voltage is low. This achieves high power conversion efficiency across a wide load range by scaling down the switching frequency under light-load conditions. This reduces switching and gate driving losses. It has built-in protection features, such as cycle-by-cycle current limiting, short-circuit protection with hiccup mode. Application includes power meters, aftermarket automotive, multi-function printers, general 36V systems.
