Rohm Power Management ICs
Rohm Power Management ICs are designed to support all power rails required by i.MX 8M Quad, Mini and Nano processors and system peripherals.
Designed to integrate sequencers compatible with power modes supported by each i.MX 8M processor, Rohm system PMICs help customers significantly reduce their development time and size requirements while simplifying the application design process.
Note: PMICs have been validated by NXP and are on its EVK and/or reference designs. PMIC drivers are integrated into i.MX 8M BSPs.
System PMICs for i.MX 8M Family
It is the latest addition to ROHM’s growing portfolio of PMICs designed for NXP’s i.MX application processors. With the BD71837AMWV for i.MX 8M Quad and Dual applications processors and the BD71847AMWV for i.MX 8M Mini family application processors, ROHM offers power solutions for all members of the i.MX 8M series.
BD71850MWV
Designed specifically for the i.MX 8M Nano processor family. The BD71850MWV integrates 6 buck converters and 6 LDOs of which 2 bucks and 2 LDOs are not needed by SoC and are available for other uses.
Key Features:
- All-in-one system PMIC optimized for i.MX 8M Nano applications processors
- Compact solution footprint and low-cost PCB design
- Configurability and programmability to allow optimization for wide variety of system designs

BD71847AMWV
Designed specifically for the i.MX 8M Mini processor family. The BD71847AMWV integrates 6 buck converters, 6 LDOs, and control logic to supply power to required processor and DDR memory from a single chip.
When single-sided mounting and Type-3 PCB is assumed, 42 fewer parts are needed compared with discrete solutions, reducing PCB area by up to 42%.

BD71837AMWV
Designed specifically for i.MX 8M Quad processor and remains the only single-chip solution. The BD71837AMWV integrates 8 buck converters, 7 LDOs, and control logic to supply power to required processor and DDR memory from a single chip.
When single-sided mounting and Type-3 PCB is assumed, 56 fewer parts are needed compared with discrete solutions, reducing PCB area by up to 45%
