The QPF5012 is a highly integrated X-band front-end module designed for 8.5 GHz to 10.5 GHz radar, communications, and electronic warfare applications. The device combines a transmit/receive switch, limiter, low-noise amplifier, and power amplifier into a compact 7 mm x 5 mm package. Leveraging GaN-on-SiC technology for the power amplifier and T/R switch, and GaAs technology for the limiter and LNA, the module delivers 10 W saturated transmit power, 40% power-added efficiency, 23 dB receive gain, and a low 2.1 dB noise figure to support demanding radar system requirements.
