Other Transformers

Transformers transfer the energy from one circuit to another circuit by means of electromagnetic induction. They are used to either increase or decrease the voltage from one side to another side of the transformer. Different types of Transformers are Power, Pulse, Audio, Current, RF, Telecom, etc. Transformers also include consumer applications like washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and industrial applications like power transmission.
