Software

Software is a collection of programs, instructions, data, and other operating information which is used by a user to interact with the computer and its hardware for the desired functioning of an embedded device. Application software, operating systems (O/S), board support packages (BSPs), software support packages, networking software, downloads, patches, etc. are few examples of different types of software products.
