MKP385e series THB AC and pulse metallized polypropylene film capacitors designed for hybrid and electrical vehicles and their peripheries incuding on-board and inductive charging systems, battery management, high pulse and high frequency currents, snubbering, and resonant converters. This automotive grade capacitor was designed for automotive applications where pulse, high frequency, and high AC current capabilities are required. The MKP385e features high robustness under high humidity and maximum operation temperature of 125°C for a limited period of 500hours with reduced voltage. The MKP385e part of Vishay’s MKP radial film capacitor product line, fulfilling the requirements of IEC 60384-17 and AEC-Q200 qualified.
