The BPW21R from Vishay is a leaded silicon photodiode in TO-5 package. The device is equipped with a flat glass window, built-in colour correction filter giving an approximation to the spectral response of human eye. This device is made of planar silicon PN photodiode in a hermetically case especially designed for high precision sensing, linear applications and colour measuring purposes.
