The 5747841-4 is a 15-way 2-row front metal shell D-sub Plug with gold-plated brass contacts and clear chromate-plated zinc 4-40 UNC threaded inserts. The Amplimite HD-20 series right angle posted plug comes with grounding indents, grounding straps, black nylon/polyester housing, tin-plated brass eyelet, tin-plated carbon steel shell and tin-plated solder tail. Plugs are preloaded with size 20 DF posted pin contacts. Connectors are intermateable with any size 20 subminiature D connectors dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308. The front metal-shell design is compatible with full metal-shell connectors.
