Terminal Block connectors feature the special rising cage clamp design. The modular design of Terminal Block connectors consists of one-piece board mount terminal blocks and plug connectors with mating straight and right-angle shrouded headers.

Terminal Block connectors are interchangeable with most existing products and PC board footprint is fully compatible with existing Industry Standards.

Terminal Block connectors offer several advantages: IR Reflow compatible; Terminal Block connectors have a rising cage clamp which promotes numerous reliable connections and disconnections at field installations; The double captive screw system guards against lost screws; All metal parts are nonmagnetic; The housing funnel entry design enables an easier product application; The open bottom design facilitates the PC board washing and reduces trapping of soldering fumes and dirt, with better insulation; Contacts are post tinplated with nickel underplate which allows the product to be used in specially corrosive environments.
