The 1318107-1 is a socket Signal Contact made of copper alloy with gold plated finish. It accepts 22 to 18AWG wire size. The surface of gold-plated contacts is harder, which means less wear and tear and enables higher mating cycles. The mating force of gold-plated contacts is lower as well. The open barrel crimp contact is suitable for D-2 series dynamic connectors.
