The SiT3922 is a highly flexible, high frequency Digitally Controlled Differential Oscillator (DCXO)·that supports LVPECL and LVDS output signaling types. This differential oscillator covers any frequency between·220 to 625 MHz, with best-in-class RMS phase jitter of <0.5 ps. This oscillator provides an extremely wide pull range up to ±1600 PPM with superior pull range linearity of 0.1% which is 100 times better than quartz crystal VCXOs, thereby simplifying PLL and clock synchronization design. The SiT3922 uses a 1-wire interface to communicate the control data into the DCXO. Unlike quartz or SAW based traditional oscillators, the SiT3922 is available in any combination of voltage (2.5V·or 3.3V), frequency stability (±10, ±25 or ±50 PPM) and package (5032 or 7050) options.
