The ISL59837 is a revolutionary device that allows true singlesupplyoperation of video amplifiers. Designed for systemsrequiring output swing below ground but lacking a negativepower supply, the ISL59837 generates the required negativerail internally from a +3.3V power supply. This allows forDC-accurate coupling of video onto a 75O double-terminatedline. The buffers have an integrated 6dB, eliminating the needfor external gain-setting resistors. An external referencevoltage can be applied to the REF pin to shift the analog videolevel down by the desired amount. The charge pump andamplifiers can be placed in a power down mode, consumingless than 1mA of current.
