The NCV8170BXV310T2G from On Semiconductor is an automotive qualified, ultra low IQ, 150mA CMOS low dropout LDO (low dropout) regulator in 6 pin SOT-563 package. This regulator is designed specifically for portable battery powered applications which require ultra low quiescent current. This high performance 150mA output current linear regulator delivers low noise and high power supply rejection ratio with excellent dynamic performance due to employing the dynamic quiescent current adjustment which assure ultra low IQ consumption at no load state. The ultra low consumption of typical 500nA ensures long battery life and dynamic transient boost feature improves device transient response for wireless communication applications. It is also used in cameras, keyless entry systems, image sensors and camcorders.
