The S8FS-G05012C from Omron Industrial Automation is a S8FS-G series switch mode power supply. It is ideal for machine tools and semiconductor manufacturing equipments. An IEC 61558-2-16 compliant transformer is built into the power supply to eliminate the need for a transformer with compound windings for control circuits for which IEC 60204-1 machinery directive is specified. This helps reduce cost and space requirements. This power supply has superior basic performance that ensures reliability. It also has greater resistance to rusting with aluminium/stainless steel case and applications at altitudes up to 3000m.
