A new iteration of the light convergent sensor improving upon existing capabilities, connection with control boards, and including a new digital sensor type. Offering a sensor with improved capabilities in object detection, so in part that it can equally detect surfaces of dark, light, transparent, or reflective material. Improvements include a longer sensing distance, allowing for a wider range of applications. Sensing performance has improved to be comparable to detection capabilities of LCR sensor. LCR sensor has strong performance records in detecting dark or light material
