XCIB series K type high temperature and abrasion resistant thermocouple is double-protected with abrasion-resistant Inconel overbraid with high temperature ceramic fibre insulation. This is unexcelled for profiling ovens and furnaces. The 20-gauge solid conductor thermocouple wires are insulated with braided Nextel® ceramic over the ceramic fibre is a rugged overbraid of Inconel 600® –a tough, high-temperature, high nickel content alloy.
