S32X-MB is an I/O extension board compatible with the evaluation boards for the S32K39/37 microcontrollers and the S32Z and S32E real-time processors. The S32K39/37 microcontrollers target electrification applications while S32Z and S32E safe and secure high-performance real-time processors. S32X-MB provides additional functionality and access to I/O and peripherals. Some of these additional peripherals include CAN FD, Ethernet, FlexRay, LIN and motor control. The S32X-MB is utilized when development requires more peripherals and access to I/O than are available on the S32K39/37 or S32Z/E evaluation boards. The S32X-MB is not a standalone development board. It must be used with the S32K39/37 or S32Z/E evaluation boards.
- Control up to 1x 3-phase PMSM or 1x BLDC motor or general 3-phase machine
- Extends S32K396-BGA-DC1 for 2nd motor control or 1x 6-phase motor
- 12V power connector
