Wireless power transmitter controller with integrated digital demodulation. The device integrates all required functions for WPC Qi compliant wireless power transmitter design. It’s an intelligent device to work with Freescale touch sensing technology or use periodically analogue PING (configurable by user) to detect a mobile device for charging while gaining super low standby power. The IC supports any low power guided positioning single coil power transmitter design (WPC types or customization) using operation frequency and duty cycle control by software based solutions. It features Foreign Object Detection (FOD) method to protect from overheating by misplaced metallic foreign objects. Typically used in any guided positioning single coil solution with frequency and duty cycle control.
