The MPXV5100GC7U is a monolithic silicon Piezoresistive Pressure Sensor designed for a wide range of applications. This patented, single element transducer combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin-film metallization and bipolar processing to provide an accurate, high level analogue output signal that is proportional to the applied pressure. The pressure sensor operating characteristics and internal reliability and qualification tests are based on use of dry air as the pressure media. Media, other than dry air, may have adverse effects on sensor performance and long-term reliability.
