MC9S08SH16CTLR

The S08SH family is a series of S08 8-bit microcontrollers that offer a new low-end option for applications in the 5-volt range. The S08SH family is pin, tool and software compatible with S08SG, offering greater design flexibility. It also has wide peripheral offering with serial communications interface (SCI), serial peripheral interface (SPI), I²C, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), analog comparator and temperature sensor.

• HC08 instruction set with added BGND instruction, random-access memory (RAM)
• FLASH read/program/erase over full operating voltage and temperature
• Security circuitry to prevent unauthorized access to RAM and FLASH contents
• Two very low power stop modes, reduced power wait mode
• Very low power real time counter for use in run, wait, and stop
• Low-voltage detection with reset or interrupt; selectable trip points
• ICS supports bus frequencies from 2MHz to 20MHz
• Illegal opcode detection with reset, illegal address detection with reset
• 28 pin TSSOP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
