Nidec Copal Electronics’ WL-10 series optical liquid leak sensors, detect leaks quickly with pinpoint accuracy. The sensing mechanism is similar to that of other optical liquid leak sensors which use a combination of LED and photodetector. However, unlike most two-wire liquid leak sensors, the WL-10 does not use a darkening mask nor a sensing band or sticker. Normally these sensors are paired together with a leakage pan. They are ideal for professional industrial applications where a high level of quality and reliability is essential.
