USB2412-DZK

The USB2412-DZK is a 2-port USB 2.0 high-speed single transaction translator (STT) Hub Controller IC with two downstream ports for embedded USB applications. The SMSC hub controller supports low-speed, full-speed and high-speed (if operating as a hi-speed hub) downstream devices on all of the enabled downstream ports. Designed for low-power, small-footprint and mobile-oriented applications. The USB2412 is an USB port expansion solution that requires minimal bill-of-material and configuration options. The USB2412 supports the standard commercial operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C and is designed to meet ESD protection of up to 4kV on all pins.

• Fully integrated USB termination and pull-up/pull-down resistors
• Internal regulator provides 1.2V internal core voltage
• On-chip 24MHz crystal driver
• 4kV of HBM JESD22-A114F ESD protection (powered and unpowered)
• Downstream port configurable as non-removable ports
• Supports compound devices on a per-port basis
