MCP6S22DM-PICTL is an PGA PICtail Demo Board to evaluate and demonstrate MCP6S21/2/6/8 Programmable and MCP6S91/2/3 Gain Amplifier (PGA) families. Interface this board with PICkit 1 Flash Starter Kit to demonstrate firmware integration between the PIC MCU and PGA devices, while allowing you to modify and develop firmware for your specific requirements. The MCP6S22 PGA PICtail Demo Board can be used as a stand alone, with a user interface that allows the PGA gains and channels to be selected without a firmware development. The board uses a USB interface to communicate with a Personal Computer (PC), while the Pickit software can be used as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to display the PGA output voltage. This board is designed to evaluate the PGA with minimum PCB trace induced noise or crosstalk. It uses a four layer board with solid ground and power layers. The placement of each trace has been carefully considered so that the user can evaluate the PGA over a wide frequency range.
