The MTCH101 evaluation kit provides an easy platform for quick and easy implementation of Microchips mTouch technology in any application. Using the included Proximity Sensor Board, this kit provides a turnkey proximity detection companion-application, out of the box. No mTouch expertise is required. The MTCH family of products, while still providing parameter adjustment for additional flexibilty, will start operating with its factory configuration, at power up time. A 12-pin header connector allows users to connect a custom capacitive sensing board to the MTCH101 main board so they can start working on their own application, with no coding involved.
