ADM00804

The ADM00804 from Microchip is an MIC28514 evaluation board. The MIC28514 is high performance 75V/5A Hyper Speed Control® synchronous DC/DC buck regulator with external soft start. This MIC28514 evaluation board is a constant-frequency synchronous buck switching regulator features unique adaptive ON-time control architecture. The is used to demonstrate high voltage input step-down design which can deliver up to 95% efficiency to a broad range of output voltages. The board accepts up to 75V input voltage, regulating down to 0.8V output voltage. The fitted pin header allows for output voltage selection between 0.8V, 1.2V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5.0V and 12V. The MIC28514 and the board can be loaded up to 5A continuous output current. It also features an auxiliary bootstrap low dropout (LDO) which improves the system efficiency by supplying the internal bias power from the output of the converter.
