TLE5014P16DXUMA1 is a GMR-based angle sensor is designed for angular position sensing in automotive applications with focus on steering angle sensor.

• PWM interface, ESD: 4KV (HBM) on VDD and output pin
• Giant Magneto Resistance (GMR)-based principle
• Integrated magnetic field sensing for angle measurement, 360° angle measurement
• High voltage and reverse polarity capability
• EEPROM for storage of configuration (e.g. zero angle) and customer specific ID
• 12bit representation of absolute angle value on output, max 1° angle error over lifetime and temp
• Developed according to ISO26262 with process complying to ASIL-D
• Internal safety mechanisms with a SPFM 97%, interfaces: PWM, SPC, SENT (based on SAE J2716-2010)
• 32 point look-up table to correct for systematic angle errors (e.g. magnetic circuit)
