BTS721L1XUMA1 is a smart four channel high side power switch. This N channel vertical power FET with charge pump, ground referenced CMOS compatible input and diagnostic feedback, monolithically integrated in Smart SIPMOS technology. Providing embedded protective functions. Applications include µC compatible power switch with diagnostic feedback for 12V and 24VDC grounded loads, all types of resistive, inductive and capacitive loads, replaces electromechanical relays and discrete circuits.

• Overload protection, current limitation, short-circuit protection
• Thermal shutdown, overvoltage protection (including load dump)
• Fast demagnetization of inductive loads, reverse battery protection
• Undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown with auto-restart and hysteresis
• Open drain diagnostic output, open load detection in ON-state
• CMOS compatible input, loss of ground and loss of Vbb protection
• Electrostatic discharge protection (ESD), 5 to 34V operating voltage
• On-state resistance is 85mohm typ at (Tj = 25°C)
• Nominal load current is 2.9A typical at (Tj = 25 °C, Vbb = 12V)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +150°C, DSO-20 package
