AP7380-50WR-7 is a positive voltage regulator IC. The AP7380 has features of wide input voltage range, high accuracy, low dropout voltage, current limit and ultra-low quiescent current which make it ideal for use in various USB and portable devices and instrument applications. The IC consists of a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a resistor network for setting output voltage, a current limit circuit for current protection, and a chip enable circuit. Applications include battery-powered equipment, laptops, palmtops, notebook computers, portable information appliances.
- Low ground current, high output voltage accuracy
- Compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitor, excellent line/load regulation
- Thermal shutdown function, supply input voltage range from 3.5V to 24V
- Load regulation is 0.5% typical at (VIN = VOUT + 2V, 1mA = IOUT = 150mA)
- Dropout voltage is 360mV typical at (3.0V VOUT 5.0V, IOUT = 50mA)
- Ground current is 1.8µA typical at (IOUT = 0A, TJ = +25°C)
- Standby current is 0.01µA typical at (VEN in OFF mode, TJ = +25°C)
- Current limit is 150mA minimum at (VIN = VOUT + 2V, VOUT1 = 98% x VOUT)
- Junction temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- SOT25 package
