AP2112M-3.3TRG1 is a CMOS process low dropout linear regulator with an enable function, the regulator delivers a guaranteed 600mA (min.) continuous load current. The LDO has an output accuracy of ±1.5% and a very fast loop response providing excellent performance for dealing with line and load transients. It includes an auto discharge function that connects the output to the ground via 60 ohm of resistance when the device is disabled. The application includes laptop computers, LCD monitors, and portable DVD.

• Maximum output current is 600mA min (VIN = 2.5V, VOUT = 1.182V to 1.218V, TA = +25°C)
• Short current limit is 50mA typ (VOUT = 0V, VIN = 2.5V, CIN = 1.0µF, TA = +25°C)
• Enable function to turn ON/OFF VOUT
• Dropout voltage is 250mV typ (IOUT = 600mA, VIN = 3.5V, CIN = 1.0µF, TA = +25°C)
• Excellent load regulation is 0.2%/A (Typ.), excellent line regulation is 0.02%/V (Typ.)
• Quiescent current is 55µA typ (VIN = 2.5V, IOUT = 0mA, VIN = 2.5V, CIN = 1.0µF, TA = +25°C)
• RMS output noise is 50µVRMS typ (no load, 10Hz = f = 100kHz, TA = +25°C)
• Power supply rejection ratio is 65dB typ (f=100Hz, Ripple 0.5Vp-p VIN=2.5V, IOUT=100mA, TA=+25°C)
