HEDS-9930E2LEVB is a linear encoder evaluation board with 2 units of code strip bundling. The Broadcom® AEDR-9930E2L is a three-channel reflective optical encoder. It provides digital signals by employing reflective technology for motion control purposes. The AEDR-9930E2L digital encoder offers two-channel (AB) quadrature digital outputs and a third channel digital index output. A selectable interpolation option is available for the three-channel digital differential A, B, and gated I outputs. Being TTL compatible, the outputs of the encoder can be interfaced with most of the signal processing circuitry. Therefore, the encoder provides easy integration and flexible design-in into existing systems. Applications include closed-loop stepper motors, small motors, actuators, industrial printers, robotics, card readers, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, portable medical equipment, optometric equipment and linear stages.
