HCPL-2400-000E

The HCPL-2400-000E is a 1-channel 8-pin high speed Logic Gate Optocoupler combines an 820nm AlGaAs light emitting diode with a high speed photodetector. This combination results in very high data rate capability and low input current. The three state output eliminates the need for a pull out resistor and allows for direct drive of data buses. The detector has optical receiver input stage with built-in Schmitt trigger to provide logic compatible waveforms, eliminating the need for additional wave shaping. The hysteresis provides differential mode noise immunity and minimizes the potential for output signal chatter. The electrical and switching characteristic is guaranteed over the temperature range of 0 to 70°C. This optocoupler is compatible with TTL, STTL, LSTTL and HCMOS logic families. It is suitable for isolation of high speed logic systems, ground loop elimination, high speed disk drive I/O and pulse transformer replacement.
