The HCPL-0531-500E is a 2-channel 8-pin High Speed Optocoupler contains a pair of light emitting diodes and integrated photo-detectors with electrical insulation between input and output. Separate connection for the photodiode bias and output transistor collectors increase the speed up to a hundred times that of a conventional phototransistor coupler by reducing the base-collector capacitance. It is suitable for line receivers, replace pulse transformers, analogue signal ground isolation and isolated analogue amplifier.
