The HCNW-4506-000E is a 1-channel 8-pin Intelligent Power Module and Gate Drive Interface Optocoupler contains an AlGaAs LED. The LED is optically coupled to an integrated high gain photodetector. Minimized propagation delay difference between devices makes this optocoupler excellent solutions for improving inverter efficiency through reduced switching dead time. Specifications and performance plots are given for typical IPM applications. It is suitable for isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drive.
