The BCM6802 extends Gigabit speeds over coax throughout the home for ultra-fast TV and Internet content delivery.
The BCM6802 is a single-chip Gigabit MoCA (Multimedia over Coax) 2.0 solution that enables operators to deliver advanced MoCA 2.0 functionality into a full spectrum of broadband devices. The MoCA 2.0 chip is designed for applications such as cable, DSL or Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) modems, routers, bridges or access points, and delivers up to gigabit speeds of home network bandwidth for enhanced whole-home video quality and distribution.
