AFBR-S50-FEK

AFBR-S50-FEK is an evaluation kit for Time-of-Flight sensor modules that contains all hardware needed to immediately start working with the Broadcom AFBR-S50 multipixel TOF sensors. It comes with all members of Broadcom’s TOF sensors family which can be easily plugged into the sensor socket on the adapter board. The sensors’ FOVs range from 0.4° x 0.4° to 13° x 6° while the typical achievable distances range 10mm to 50m and beyond depending on the type. The sensor works well in all light situations from completely dark up to blue sunny sky (100klux) outdoors and above. This is while the sensor firmware takes care of maintaining laser class 1 in all situations. Applications include distance measurement, factory automation and control, AMRs / AGVs, UAVs / drones, security surveillance, robotics, human-machine interaction, redundancy and functional safety, inventory monitoring, and fill-level monitoring.
