The ACPL-M483/P483/W483 fast speed optocouplercontains a AlGaAs LED and photo detector with built-inSchmitt trigger to provide logic-compatible waveforms,eliminating the need for additional wave shaping. Thetotem pole output eliminates the need for a pull upresistor and allows for direct drive of Intelligent PowerModule or as a gate driver. Minimized propagation delaydifference between devices makes these optocouplersexcellent solutions for improving inverter efficiencythrough reduced switching dead time.
