The SMAJ33CA from Littelfuse is a SMAJ series 400W, surface mount bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode in DO-214AA package. It features excellent clamping capability, glass passivated junction, low inductance, low profile package, built-in strain relief and fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps from 0Vs to VBR min. The peak pulse power dissipation (PPPM) is 400W at TA=25°C, 10/1000µs waveform, 0.01% repetition rate (duty cycle). This SMAJ series transient voltage suppression diode is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.
