SFH 5701

SFH 5701 is a chip LED ambient light sensor. Application includes industrial automation (machine controls, light barriers, vision controls), remote control, proximity, ambient light sensing, smart home, metering.

• ESD: 2KV according to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 (HBM)
• Adapted to human eye sensitivity, analogue output current is proportional to ambient light intensity
• Integrated dark current suppression, built in thermal compensation
• Linear response over 6 decades of illumination range
• Output current is 135µA typ (Ev = 100 lx; (white LED); VDD = 5V, TA = 25°C)
• Spectral sensitivity is 1000nA/lx typ (Ev = 100lx; white LED; VDD = 5V, TA = 25°C)
• Wavelength of maximum sensitivity is 600nm typ (TA = 25°C)
• Half angle is 60° typ (TA = 25°C), supply current is 135µA typ (Ev = 100 lx, white LED)
• O/P impedance is 10Mohm typ (TA = 25°C), forward voltage is 0.52V typ (IF = 0.2mA; E = 0, TA = 25°C)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
