AS7058A-BWLT is an IC for PPG, ECG, and body impedance measurement. It is an integrated multi-vital sign monitoring device, which provides a complete photoplethysmogram, electrocardiogram, body impedance, and electrodermal activity. PPG measures the pulse rate or blood oxygen by sampling light modulated by the blood vessels, which expand and contract as blood pulses through them. ECG is the reference for any measurement of the biopotential generated by the heart. With EDA, it is possible to measure the skin’s water content, and with BioZ, the body composition with an electrical system. Includes a new type of offset cancelation for the PPG signal: advanced automatic offset control. Applications include wearable vital sign monitors, fitness bands, smart watches, heart rate monitors, hearables, ECG monitoring, medical patches, pulse-oximetry devices, single- and multi-frequency body impedance devices, pulse arrival time (PAT), pulse transit time, pulse wave velocity (PWV), assessments.
