Broadcom BCM54220 PHY Starter Recipe

This block diagram presents a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet implementation using the BCM54220 PHY. The design provides two independent 10/100/1000BASE-T copper ports with RGMII or SGMII MAC interfaces, supporting EEE, IEEE 1588v2, and SyncE. This solution is ideal for switches, routers, and aggregation devices requiring multiple copper Ethernet ports with advanced timing and synchronization capabilities.
