Avnet has designed a holistic approach to our employees' health and well-being called THRIVE. This global program supports the whole person and offers employees resources, information, benefits and assistance to support overall health. Avent's health and well-being benefits are managed within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence

Avnet believes our responsibility to our employees, industry and global community extends beyond achieving business and financial goals. We are proud of our long history of community involvement both through financial giving and hands-on volunteerism. By sponsoring initiatives in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), the environment, disaster relief and employees’ volunteer passions in our local communities, Avnet and its employees continue to make an impact around the world.

When disaster strikes and throughout the year, Avnet partners with the American Red Cross, and its global affiliates, by matching employee donations toward specific disaster relief efforts.

A global youth technology showcase, reaching over 11,000 kids from all over the world. Avnet’s volunteer effort for the event spans 6 countries.

Little Free STEM Library Project

Little Free STEM Library Project

Avnet Cares has expanded the project from Phoenix to 13 other locations across the Americas, delivering STEM kits to free little libraries and into the hands of curious kids.

First Robotics

Avnet’s long-standing support of FIRST Robotics includes sponsorship of the regional event hosted in Arizona, which welcomes teams from across the southwest U.S. and includes teams from overseas.

Scholarships for STEM

Stem Scholoarships

Avnet’s partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks includes support of scholarships for first-generation students studying STEM disciplines.

Environmental grants

Avnet Cares’ community grants include a focus on sustainability, with grants impacting climate science, food distribution, reuse of technology & building supplies and use of technology to grow food.

Annual Serve-A-Thon

Avnet has been a partner with HandsOn Greater Phoenix for their annual Serve-A-Thon for more than 30 years. It is the largest volunteer effort for Avnet’s headquarters each year.

Volunteer efforts that impact the planet are important to Avnet volunteers. From farming in Taiwan to tree plantings in Mexico, sustaining the environment is important to Avnet employees.

Across the U.S., Avnet hosts annual Partner Appreciation Events, that benefit local charities. Last year Avnet hosted four events that raised over $80,000 for a variety of causes.
