In response to the demands of the new generation of intelligent steam ovens for highly reliable touch control, richer human-machine interaction, and low-power high-integration control platforms, this reference solution provides a complete and scalable touch pad solution for steam ovens.
The solution is based on Infineon PSoC™ 4100T Plus (CY8C4147AZQ T495) capacitive touch microcontroller and OPTIREG™ integrated power stage TLF12501, deeply integrating touch, human-machine interface, power management and system-level design experience. Provide an efficient platform for customers to accelerate the evaluation and product launch of the touch control system for steam ovens.
This solution is system-level optimized for application challenges such as high humidity, high temperature, electromagnetic interference and long-term reliability in the kitchen, achieving a good balance among touch performance, system stability and platform scalability.
This is a complete touchpad reference solution for smart steam ovens. Its core features can be summarized as "three stabilities, one strength, and one ease" :
- Stable touch performance: Supports multi-key and slider touch design. The solution is optimized for typical kitchen conditions such as high humidity, water vapor, oil stains and temperature changes, ensuring a highly sensitive and consistent touch experience even in complex environments, and avoiding accidental touches and malfunctions.
- Stabilize the power supply and system operation : Efficient power supply from the input power to the MCU and touch module is achieved by using the OPTIREG™ integrated power stage TLF12501. It integrates overvoltage, undervoltage and over-temperature protection functions, effectively enhancing the power stability and system security of the touchpad during long-term operation.
- Stable environmental adaptability and long-term reliability: The solution optimizes the design at the system level for high-temperature baking, steam condensation and electromagnetic interference, including PCB layout, power integrity and touch electrode structure.
- A highly integrated and cost-effective platform : A single chip integrates touch perception, control logic and abundant programmable analog/digital resources, significantly reducing the number of external devices. Combined with the TLF12501 power supply solution, it can effectively simplify the BOM, reduce system complexity and overall cost.
- Easy to develop, expand and implement quickly : Provide mature touch parameter configuration ideas and system-level reference designs to facilitate customers to quickly complete evaluation and debugging. The platform supports the expansion of different panel sizes, key layouts and functional requirements, and is suitable for the development of multiple product lines from basic types to mid-to-high-end steam ovens.
