NCV8705MTADJTCG is a low noise, low power consumption and low dropout linear voltage regulator. With its excellent noise and PSRR specifications, this device is ideal for use in products utilizing RF receivers, imaging sensors, audio processors or any component requiring an extremely clean power supply. The NCV8705 uses an innovative adaptive ground current circuit to ensure ultra-low ground current during light load conditions. Applications include ADAS, infotainment & cluster, and telematics, general-purpose automotive & industrial, building & factory automation, smart meters.
- Operating input voltage range from 2.5V to 5.5V, ±2% accuracy over load/line/temperature
- Internal soft-start to limit the turn-on inrush current, AEC-Q100 qualified
- Thermal shutdown and current limit protections, reference voltage is 0.8V typical
- Stable with a 1µF ceramic output capacitor, active output discharge for fast turn-off
- Output voltage accuracy is 2% maximum at (VOUT + 0.5V = VIN = 5.5V, IOUT = 0 - 500mA)
- Load regulation is 12µV/mA typical at (IOUT = 0mA to 500mA)
- Quiescent current is 13µA typical at (IOUT = 0mA, -40°C = TJ = 125°C)
- Shutdown current is 0.12µA typical at (VEN = 0.4V, TJ = +25°C)
- Output noise voltage is 12µVrms typical at (VOUT = 2.5 V (fixed), VIN = 3.5V, IOUT = 500mA)
- Storage temperature range from -55°C to 150°C, WDFN6 package
