SEARAY™ High-Density Open-Pin-Field Arrays

High-speed, high-density open-pin-field arrays allow maximum grounding and routing flexibility.

Samtec's SEARAY™ products are the industry’s largest offering of high-speed, high-density open-pin-field arrays. Available with up to 560 I/Os, SEARAY™ maximizes design and flexibility for single-ended or differential pair configurations, and for power, signal, or ground. They support up to 56 Gbps PAM 4 applications and are available in a 1.27 mm pitch with stack heights ranging from 7 mm to 18.5 mm. A high-speed mating cable is also available.

SEARAY™ uses Samtec’s Edge Rate® contact system which is designed for high-speed, high-cycle applications. The smooth broad-milled contact surface increases wear life, while the minimized parallel surface reduces broadside coupling and crosstalk. This also lowers insertion and withdrawal forces.

SEARAY™ is a Severe Environment Test (SET) qualified product. SET is a Samtec initiative to test products beyond typical industry standards and specifications. These products undergo additional testing to ensure they are more than suitable for rugged/harsh environments such as military, space, automotive, industrial and other extreme applications.
