Graphite TIM( Compressible Type)
PGS with low thermal resistance.
Graphite TIM (Compressible Type) is a graphite sheet dedicated for use as a thermal interface material. It has a very high compressibility compared to standard PGS, enabling reduced thermal resistance due to gap, warpage, and distortion of targets/substrates.
The excellent heat resistance and reliability of GraphiteTIM help ensure a longer service life and higher performance of various components, such as power modules.
GraphiteTIM (Compressible Type) is cost-effective because it can streamline your existing processes. Unlike grease, printing is not necessary since it is a sheet-type product. The GraphiteTIM does not have the problems found in grease and phase change materials, making it an excellent TIM.
Features
- Thermal Resistance: 0.2 K·cm²/W (600 kPa). To achieve optimal thermal resistance, apply pressure to the Graphite TIM. Close adherence will make the product fit into uneven spaces and enhance performance.
- Thermal conductivity:
X-Y direction: 200 to 400 W/m·K
Z direction: 28 W/m·K
- Compressibility: 40% or more (600 kPa)
- High and long-term reliability: operating temperature range of -55 to 400 °C
- RoHS compliant
Applications
For cooling/heat transfer of electronic devices Install in IGBT module that generates heat, such as power modules.
- AI Server
- Inverters and converters
- Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment
- Car-mounted camera, automotive LED, luminous source of laser HUD without automotive grade. (Not applicable IATF16949,VDA6.3)
- Base station
Benefits
- Excellent heat resistance and reliability
- Unlike grease, there is no necessity for printing process
- There are no problems that are found in grease and phase change materials in the GraphiteTIM
